A Note of Gratitude
None of these achievements would have been possible without the collective efforts of many individuals and organizations who have stood alongside us throughout this journey.
We extend our deepest appreciation to the defectors and their families who demonstrated extraordinary courage in choosing to stand with the people despite immense personal risks and sacrifices. Their decisions continue to inspire hope for a more peaceful, democratic, and just Myanmar.
We are equally grateful to our volunteers, staff members, partner organizations, civil society allies, media partners, researchers, trainers, and advocates whose dedication, expertise, and solidarity have strengthened the defection movement and expanded its impact over the years.
We also wish to sincerely thank the donors and supporters who placed their trust in our work and provided vital financial, technical, and in-kind assistance. Your support has enabled us to provide direct assistance to defectors, expand educational opportunities, strengthen advocacy efforts, and continue promoting democratic values during one of the most challenging periods in Myanmar's history.
This report reflects not only People's Goal's work, but also the collective contributions of a broader community committed to ending military dictatorship and building a federal democratic future founded on justice, equality, and human dignity.
We are honored to be part of that journey, and we look forward to continuing it together.
