A Day of Connection and Shared Purpose

December 10, 2025, was a meaningful day in New Delhi, India. Beyond the usual rush of the city, there was a quiet but powerful sense of unity in the room. People gathered not just to meet, but to connect around a shared struggle and a shared hope for the future. The gathering honored CDM soldiers and police officers who chose to stand with the people, along with their families who continue to show strength and resilience.

The meeting between CDM members and People’s Goal (ပြည်သူ့ပန်းတိုင်) had a clear purpose. It aimed to strengthen mutual understanding, encourage collaboration, share lived experiences, and openly discuss the challenges faced by CDM members and their families.

Who Was There

A total of 28 participants joined the gathering, including CDM soldiers, police officers, family members, and representatives from People’s Goal. The presence of the National Unity Government (NUG) Representative for India added significance to the event and reflected the seriousness of the commitment to the movement.

Conversations That Mattered

The day began with a warm opening message from the NUG Representative, setting a tone of respect, encouragement, and shared responsibility.

The People’s Goal team then shared updates on their ongoing work and explained where CDM soldiers and police officers could contribute their skills and experience. This discussion highlighted how professional knowledge gained in the past can now support the struggle for democracy in new and meaningful ways.

The most powerful moment came when CDM members spoke openly. They shared their personal journeys, the hardships they endured, the fears they continue to face, and their practical suggestions for moving forward. These honest reflections brought depth and reality to the discussion and reminded everyone of the human cost behind the movement.

After the formal session, the atmosphere became more relaxed. Conversations continued over breakfast and lunch, allowing participants to connect on a personal level, exchange ideas, and build trust. The gathering felt less like a meeting and more like a community coming together.
