People’s Goal launches “Entrepreneurship Incubation Program” for CDM defectors and families

On September 9, 2025, People’s Goal, in partnership with The Next Step Project, launched the “Entrepreneurship Incubation Program – For a Resilient Future.”

The program supports CDM defectors and their families who took a stand with the people during Myanmar’s Spring Revolution. Applicants will be selected based on their continued commitment to the movement, their capacity to establish small businesses that align with human rights and ethical standards, and the potential of their proposed ventures.

Those selected will receive mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities from The Next Step Project and an advisory panel of community leaders active in Thailand and India. The program is designed to empower CDM families to rebuild sustainable livelihoods in new and challenging environments.

By standing with those who bravely defected, People’s Goal invests in their dignity, resilience, and future.
