People’s Goal Programme: Paungsielan complete first vocational training on home electrical appliance repair

On September 2, 2025, People’s Goal, through the Paungsielan Programme’s Vocational Training, held the graduation ceremony for its first “Home Electrical Appliance, Motor, and Washing Machine Repair Course.”

Over six weeks, participants received both theoretical and hands-on training in inspecting and repairing household electrical appliances, motors, and washing machines. Among the 11 trainees—comprising CDM defectors, CDM civil servants, and pro-democracy activists—9 successfully completed the course.

This initiative is part of People’s Goal’s commitment to help CDM defectors and democracy activists rebuild their lives and strengthen their resilience through sustainable livelihoods. The training represents not only a pathway to income generation but also a source of hope, dignity, and encouragement for those who have endured immense hardship during the revolution.

People’s Goal extends sincere gratitude to all trainers, supporters, and participants who contributed to the success of this course. More livelihood capacity-building programs are planned in the months ahead.
