Solidarity as Strength: Social Gathering for CDM Military and Police Families

On April 9, People’s Goal organized a Family Social Gathering along the Thai Myanmar border, bringing together CDM military personnel, police members, and their families in a space focused on connection, dialogue, and mutual support.

For many of these families, daily life is shaped by displacement, uncertainty, and limited access to resources. The gathering provided an opportunity to openly share experiences, challenges, and needs. People’s Goal also updated participants on ongoing support activities, while discussions helped identify ways to strengthen collaboration moving forward.

A total of 25 participants attended, including CDM personnel, family members, and team members. Beyond discussions, the gathering included shared meals and small gifts for children, creating moments of normalcy and care in an otherwise difficult environment.

In a context where isolation can weaken both morale and support systems, such gatherings play an important role in sustaining the human connections behind the revolution. Strengthening trust, relationships, and community networks helps ensure that those who have chosen to stand against military rule are not left to navigate these challenges alone.
