The Harvest of Resilience: Feeding Hope at the Border

Along the winding green folds of the Thai-Myanmar border, where struggle and strength often grow side by side, a quiet act of care unfolded, an act rooted in resilience, dignity, and solidarity.

It began on the “CDM Farm,” a sanctuary cultivated by the KeepMovingOn group. Here, former soldiers, police, and civil servants who chose conscience over compliance have found a new way to live. After walking away from their old lives, they turned their hands toward the soil, nurturing it with determination and building a space where healing and purpose could take root. And now, their work has finally borne fruit.

On November 4th, PeoplesGoal stepped in as the bridge of support, helping transport the vibrant harvest grown by the CDM community to those who needed it most.

The recipients were people who had once worn uniforms or worked behind government desks, but chose to stand with the people. Many now live in uncertainty, scattered along the border, trying to rebuild a life far from home. On this day, nearly sixty families received fresh produce from the CDM Farm, a simple delivery that carried a much deeper meaning.

It was more than food. It was a reminder that they are not alone. A reminder that their courage has not been forgotten. It was a harvest of hope, grown by hands that refused to give up and delivered by a community determined to stand together.
