Creating New Livelihoods: Batch 3 of Electrical and Air-Conditioning Training Begins
July 6, 2026
A sustainable future begins with practical skills. On 6 July 2026, People’s Goal officially welcomed a new group of trainees to Batch 3 of the Basic Electrical, Air Conditioner, and Refrigerator Repair Course at the Paung See Lam Vocational Training Center.
Responding to overwhelming interest, the training centre expanded its intake to 15 participants, who will complete an intensive six-week programme combining classroom learning with practical, hands-on experience.
This diverse cohort includes six CDM soldiers and police officers, four former PDF members, two civil CDM staff, two activists, and one former political prisoner—individuals whose lives have been deeply affected by Myanmar’s ongoing crisis but who remain determined to rebuild their futures.
During the opening session, trainers introduced the curriculum, programme expectations, and learning objectives while participants shared their backgrounds and aspirations.
At People’s Goal, vocational education is more than skills training—it is an investment in dignity, resilience, and self-reliance. By equipping participants with employable skills, we help create new pathways toward economic independence while supporting those who continue to stand for democracy.
