Applications Open for Weaving Course (Batch 3) in Aizawl
July 7, 2026
People’s Goal is now accepting applications for Batch 3 of its Weaving Course at the Paung See Lam Vocational Training Center in Aizawl, Mizoram, India.
The six-week programme is designed to empower CDM soldiers, police officers, their family members, civil CDM staff, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) with practical weaving skills that can lead directly to employment opportunities.
Participants will receive intensive hands-on instruction from experienced trainers, with job placement support available upon successful completion. Accommodation will also be provided for trainees travelling from outside Aizawl, helping ensure equal access regardless of location.
Each cohort accommodates approximately 10 trainees, with applications closing on 18 July 2026.
People’s Goal strongly encourages women and members of ethnic minority communities to apply. By expanding access to vocational education, we continue creating opportunities for communities affected by conflict to restore their livelihoods, strengthen their resilience, and move toward long-term economic stability.
